The Lions Club of Lymington & Brockenhurst
Wherever you live, work or travel across the British Isles and Ireland, you are likely to come across members of Lions clubs and the projects we support. From Abbeyleix to Aberdeen, Yarm to Yeovil, we cover the points of the compass and letters of the alphabet. Lions are ordinary people who do extraordinary things to help others and support good causes. We have 17,000 active members belonging to 900 local clubs throughout the British Isles and Ireland.
Lymington Sports Association
From it’s base at Woodside Park, the Lymington Sports Association aims to unite and develop a sporting and recreational community, for all ages, in Lymington. The formation of The Lymington Sports Association (LSA), as a charitable body, creates a united community for the sportsmen and women of the town and its local area. The LSA aims to encourage, support and promote the wide variety sporting activities Lymington has to offer to all ages, including encouraging a closer relationship between local sporting clubs and local schools.
This is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to become involved in the Carnival. In celebration of the Lions Clubs International centennial this year’s theme is
100 years of Musicals
which will undoubtedly give endless possibilities for entrants to show off their imagination and flare. Those taking part as individuals will no doubt take pride in their costumes. For the groups it will be a great team building opportunity. Whether you are an individual, family or group, the experience will be unique, memorable, enjoyable and fun.
Lymington Sports Association is delighted to be hosting the Carnival Fete for the 2nd year running, and welcoming our community to Lymington Sports Ground.
Family Fun Day
Our Fete will be a FREE family fun packed day with plenty of Live Entertainment. There is something for everyone, from fair ground rides, bounce castles and face painting to local craft stalls, and ‘Oscars’ dog show.
